We recently published an insight paper and hosted a round-table event, both focused on Finance Transformation and the make-up of an exceptional team.
We explored the idea of the ideal Finance Transformation Leader, what experience they brought to the table and who they needed to deliver the transformation but one thing everyone was keen to explore was how best to measure success.
I caught up with a Transformation Leader who summarised the debate.
He said: "Too many organisations start their transformation journey on a back-foot by speaking boldly about the desired business outcome but rarely discussing the metrics around measuring success. There are metrics outside of cost savings which executive teams care a lot more about."
Our guests agreed that to create a successful Finance Transformation you must outline how best to measure success, identify your key metrics and explore how they align with your strategy but there remains no standardised or straight-forward method of measuring success and I'd like to find out how you tackle this.
How do you measure the success of a Finance Transformation? Join the conversation and if you haven't already, download a copy of our insight paper focused on Finance Transformation.
