Should we be focusing more attention on the Project Management Industry?

Posting date: 17 Apr 2019

An impeding Brexit deal and ongoing climate of uncertainty continue to cloud every business decision we make but it seems the Project Management Industry is thriving.

New research from PwC reveals the sector to be one of the highest growth areas of business now contributing more than £156 million to the British Economy.

It’s no surprise either as a demand for Project Managers has surged over the last three years as organisations seek a temporary solution to their financial troubles and Permanent staff seek a new adventure in the world of Interim work.

2.3 million full-time workers were employed in the sector last year and for the first time, it has made a more significant contribution to the economy than the Financial Services Sector.

This is an incredibly exciting time to work in the Project Management Industry and I can’t see it ending any time soon.

It would be great to hear your views on the matter – is it time we all focus more of our attention on the Project Management Industry?
