Robotic Process Automation has been around for a while but it is very easy for it to be shrouded in mystery.
It can add tremendous value to an organisation looking to automate mundane tasks, free up time to invest in other areas of business and make the most of your existing talent but; in my opinion, we should be feeling less intimidated by these bots and more excited to see the value they can add.
Our teams may be fearful of the impact on their jobs if we talk insensitively about implementing bots but I genuinely believe this is all about enabling our teams to add the value they are capable of contributing. We need to be speaking less about FTE reduction and more about enabling the talent we already have.
Ahead of meeting with some potential implementation partners, I am keen to hear not just your opinions on automation but also your own experiences with embedding RPA and the impact this has had on the workforce.
