One of our renewable energy clients is looking for a Technical Project/Programme Manager to help deliver a variety of major tech-driven transformation programmes within the business.

  • Role: Technical Programme Manager
  • Duration: Perm
  • Salary: £65k - £75k (plus benefits and discretionary bonuses)
  • Remote role (multiple offices around the UK should you want to use)

'This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing business which is at the cutting edge of renewable energy who has grown organically by 500% in the last 2.5 years. To consolidate and help facilitate this continued growth they are looking for a Senior technical project manager/programme manager to help deliver a wide range of tech-driven projects.

This role provides you with the opportunity to not only take a hands-on approach to your project delivery activities but also will allow you to be an integral part of the strategic planning of the future to-be state and design of the business. It will also provide you with regular exposure to senior stakeholders, including up to the c-suite, helping you grow and develop your skills and career.'

MUST HAVES:

  • Clear success in delivering across people, process and technology projects aligning to time, cost, quality metrics
  • A track record of taking a pragmatic approach on tech-driven transformation projects
  • Demonstrable experience of working on large-scale projects, managing a team to ensure a successful programme
  • Strong communication skills to effectively relay information to internal stakeholders and specialists

You will be responsible for:

  • Defining, initiating and leading on a variety of large and complex technical projects (applications, software etc), planning effectively across all stages of the project lifecycle
  • Ensuring successful delivery of these projects across people, process and technology
  • Track and manage key milestones ensuring the project is delivered in alignment with key metrics (time, budget and scope)
  • Working in close collaboration with the direct team, internal stakeholders and specialists to successfully deliver the project
  • Identify and manage resources, risks, assumptions and dependencies across the project lifecycle
