The Role

An experienced Senior Finance Manager is sought to lead the Finance Shared Services team, overseeing end-to-end finance processes, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting across multiple business units and contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • 🎯 Strategic Leadership: Define and implement finance process strategies, champion operational excellence, and lead diverse onshore and offshore teams.
  • 📊 Process Ownership: End-to-end accountability for finance processes, including revenue, operating costs, and balance sheet accounts.
  • Control & Compliance: Maintain strong financial controls, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage relationships with external auditors.
  • 🤝 Business Partnering: Provide insights to support business performance and decision-making; collaborate across functions to resolve reporting issues.
  • 🚀 Team Development: Build and develop high-performing teams, with succession planning and capability growth.
  • 💻 Technology & Data Enablement: Drive digital transformation and maximise use of finance systems, AI, and analytics.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with experience in complex audit cycles - Big4 qualified would be advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS standards (IFRS 15 & IFRS 16 desirable).
  • Proven shared services leadership, managing teams of 20+ across geographies, including offshore or outsourced functions.
  • Expertise in Record-to-Report processes, process-led change management, and finance control implementation.
  • Results-oriented, with a focus on process efficiency, standardisation, and high-quality outputs.
