Management Accountant

We are partnering with a well-established services and project-based organisation to recruit a Management Accountant into their growing finance team.

Reporting to the Head of Finance Business Partnering, this role will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely monthly management accounts across multiple business units, providing valuable financial insight to support operational and commercial decision-making.

Working closely with Finance Business Partners, Finance Operations, and key stakeholders across the business, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring robust financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts across designated business areas.
• Support an efficient and accurate month-end close process.
• Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and maintain balance sheet integrity.
• Provide financial analysis and commentary to support business performance.
• Partner with operational and commercial teams to enhance decision-making.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial controls and reporting efficiency.
• Support ad hoc financial projects and business initiatives.

About You

• Qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Confident working with stakeholders across finance and operations.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with finance systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
