Overview:

Founded in 2003, Cosegic specialises in FCA authorization and prudential services for investment firms, capital markets, and wealth managers. With over 80 years of ex-regulator experience, they offer deep FCA insights and high standards in compliance. Backed by mid-market Investor, MML Capital.


Context

Following the investment from MML, Cosegic had a mission to professionalise the business, stand-up a PMO Transformation function to support the future project pipeline and M&A agenda.

We were asked to provide experienced PMO and transformation capability to assist the CFO and MML with process design, governance, and project planning and PMO maturity.

The CFO needed a right-hand doer, but an individual who could be a strategic thinker to holistically embed new ways of working and drive adoption of change across the business.


 Solution:

 We recruited a PMO Transformation expert, who had 10 years as a Transformation and PMO Leader, a private equity track record and proven capability to roll their sleeves up and get the job done. The CFO then engaged us to hire a Financial Controller to manage the core finance team and take lead on finance operations.


 Outcome:

 We placed candidates into both roles, since their joining they have been able to add value, mature and professionalise the PMO, Transformation and finance function of the business, enabling the CFO to dedicate his time to the future growth of the business.
