Delivering on your strategic priorities

Data is now widely recognised as a critical element of an organisation's ability to operate, transform, grow and succeed in increasingly competitive markets. Organisations of all sizes, across virtually all industries, need to gain actionable insight from an ever-expanding range of data available from multiple sources to drive maximum strategic value.

We are able to work with our clients to assess their current position, develop really effective data strategies, enable these by delivering appropriate data capabilities (systems and people) and then derive valuable insight to optimise business performance.

In order to deliver lasting value, such plans need to be realistic, achievable and sensible if organisations are to avoid the ‘white elephant’ data projects which still happen too frequently – lasting years and consuming millions of pounds before being quietly closed down and written off as they have simply not delivered. Our approach is to start small and not bite off too much too quickly – this enables rapid results, increases confidence in execution and provides immediate returns to support following phases of delivery.

Data & Insight

Increasingly, organisations are amassing significant amounts of data but are constrained in their ability to effectively leverage it because they lack a clear data strategy.
It is widely acknowledged that, despite the prevalence of M&A activity, too many transactions still fail to realise the full value promised pre-deal for a range of reasons. Effective due diligence and robust Day 1 and 100 day planning are critical to the successful execution of post-transaction changes and have a disproportionately high impact on the overall success of a deal.

We work with our clients to provide focused, effective support around transactions, with a particular focus on Technology and Change Management, helping them mitigate and manage the risks around their deal.

Should you be facing challenges with the execution of your plans, we are also highly experienced at recovering and resetting complex programmes to bring delivery back on track and help you to understand the options and impacts surrounding the recovery.

Separation, carve out planning & delivery

With significant changes in consumer behaviour, distribution channels, economic and social conditions, many organisations find that they need to transform how they operate in order to remain competitive and optimise profitability. An effective operating model should drive a clear linkage between your business strategy and your operational activities in the business.

Our approach to improving efficiency starts with getting the right linkage between your strategy and the design of the organisation.
