Job Title:
Senior Data Analyst

My client a leading investment firm are looking to hire a Senior Data Analyst. The data team is central to their operations, building and maintaining systems that support the full data lifecycle. From raw ingestion through to reporting and strategic analysis.

They are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to help the organisation become more data-informed across all departments. This role involves translating complex business requirements into insightful data solutions. You will use your skills in analytics, BI tools, and stakeholder engagement to develop high-impact dashboards, drive data accuracy, and support key decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand and support their data needs

  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports (preferably using Tableau or similar tools)

  • Write advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyse data from multiple sources

  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality across all data outputs

  • Communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders using clear storytelling and visualisations

  • Collaborate with the data infrastructure team to suggest system and process improvements

  • Identify and implement ways to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting practices

  • Lead efforts to expand and mature analytics capabilities within the organisation

Key skills and experience:

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and familiarity with database design

  • Hands-on experience with business intelligence tools (preferably Tableau)

  • Ability to communicate technical insights clearly to non-technical audiences

  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

  • Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to data challenges

  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python is advantageous

Please note this is a hybrid role with 3 days a week expected in the office in London.
