Group Accountant Assets
Opportunity description
Our client, a PE backed FinTech business, are hiring a Group Accountant to join the finance team. This person will be responsible for all asset accounting for a number of entities across the group and will ensure compliance with IFRS and local European GAAP.
This role offers the chance to influence strategic financial decisions in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all asset accounting functions, including acquisition, depreciation, and disposal.
- Ensure financial reporting accuracy and compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
- Collaborate with teams to develop and implement asset management strategies.
- Regularly audit asset records for accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare financial reports and statements for stakeholders.
- Assist in annual financial budget preparation and forecasts.
- Stay updated with current accounting regulations and standards.
Key Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA).
- Proficient in NetSuite software, desirable.
- Experienced in IFRS and European GAAP.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage projects.
