We are working with a well-established and growing consumer-led organisation seeking a commercially focused Finance Analyst to join its finance team.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious analyst or management accountant looking to broaden their experience beyond month-end reporting and gain exposure to commercial finance, FP&A and business partnering activities.

The role

Responsibilities will include:

  • Ownership of monthly management reporting processes
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and planning activities
  • Producing commercial and operational analysis
  • Preparing performance packs for senior stakeholders
  • Investigating trends, risks and opportunities within financial and operational data
  • Supporting the development of new reporting tools and dashboards
  • Working closely with stakeholders across a range of business functions
  • Assisting with month-end close activities, journals and balance sheet reviews
  • Supporting continuous improvement projects across finance and reporting

About you

You could be a Finance Analyst, Management Accountant, Assistant Finance Business Partner or an ambitious individual seeking your next step.

We're particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly
  • Confidence working with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Curiosity and a desire to understand the commercial drivers of performance
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong systems aptitude
  • Experience within industry, although candidates making a first move from practice will also be considered
  • Part-qualified or newly qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA candidates are encouraged to apply
