Job Purpose

Our client in embarking an internal review of Technical Processes and Systems and as a result they will be going through several critical system implementation projects including Sage X3 ERP, Manufacturing Information Platforms and a full Warehouse Management System (WMS).

This role will provide essential support to drive these initiatives forward, ensuring systems, processes, and business needs are effectively aligned. Acting as a key bridge between the business and technical teams, you will play a central role in gathering requirements, shaping solutions, and supporting delivery - helping to accelerate progress and ensure success.

We are seeking a technically savvy Business Analyst able to bridge the gap between their technical partners and internal business functions to join a dynamic and ambitious manufacturing organisation entering an exciting period of transformation and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a key point of liaison between business stakeholders and the technical IT team for major projects, including Sage X3, MIP, and WMS implementations
• Gather, document, and analyse detailed business and technical requirements, ensuring clear alignment between operational needs and system capabilities
• Support project delivery by facilitating workshops as needed with internal business units, mapping business processes, identifying gaps, and supporting defining solutions
• Assist with the setup of IT infrastructure for the new warehouse and head office, ensuring smooth deployment and integration of critical systems
• Provide technical input and analysis for data migration, system configurations, and integration points
• Work closely with third-party vendors, system integrators, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects meet business objectives
• Produce high-quality documentation, including user stories, process flows, technical specifications, and testing plans

Role Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a technical project-driven environment
• Strong understanding of process mapping both "as is" and "to be" to support the successful implementation of business systems
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and/or large-scale IT infrastructure projects highly desirable
• Familiarity with manufacturing operations, supply chain processes, and data flows
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a sharp attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and the ability to confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels - from end-users to technical specialists, and senior management teams
• Capable of balancing business-facing needs with deep technical understanding, especially around system integrations, data migrations, and process improvements
• Experience working with third-party vendors, implementation partners, and cross-functional teams
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, primarily on-site, with some flexibility for hybrid working arrangements
