Interim Director of Finance & IT

Stanton House is currently recruiting for an Interim Director of Finance & IT to join a Charity Business in London on a 9-month Contract. This is a part-time (4 days a week) opportunity offering £100,000 (pro-rata). The client is open to a day rate arrangement at £500-£600 per day, likely to be outside IR35. The client is based in central London and offers a hybrid working model, 2 days in the office and 2 days from home.

You will be leading finance and IT through a key digital transformation, ensuring strong financial management, KPI reporting, and risk oversight while migrating systems to the cloud. Oversee a small finance team, manage IT suppliers, and support the CEO and board during a period of growth and change.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee finance operations, including reporting, cash flow, and KPI management
• Lead delivery of a significant IT transformation programme
• Support CRM system overhaul (4-month project)
• Liaise with legal teams and lead on lease negotiations
• Support the year-end process and handover post-budget submission

To be suitable for this role you must have the following:

• Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc) Finance Director (ACA preferred) with a large company and commercial background
• Proven experience in finance system change and ERP implementation (esp. Business Central / D365)
• Strong stakeholder management and decision-making influence at CEO/Board level
• Hands-on IT transformation experience in a finance leadership capacity
• Experience directly managing IT teams/functions
• Personable and confident communicator
