Statutory Financial Reporting Accountant

Are you an experienced accountant with a strong technical background in IFRS and statutory reporting? We're looking for a Statutory Financial Reporting Accountant to play a key role in our Group's external financial reporting process.

✨ What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare IFRS and AIM-compliant statutory accounts for the Group.
• Act as the main point of contact for auditors during year-end and interim audits.
• Support the preparation of the Annual Report and investor presentations.
• Research and document complex IFRS technical accounting issues.
• Update and implement internal accounting policies to align with IFRS and improve controls.
• Collaborate with Finance teams across international locations to ensure complete and accurate disclosures.
• Support bank covenant reporting and tax planning (e.g., transfer pricing frameworks).
• Lead or support special projects and continuous improvements across financial processes.

🎓 What You'll Bring

Required:

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent), ideally with experience in a listed environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS.
• Experience in consolidating financial statements across international locations.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.

Desirable:

• Experience working with listed or international manufacturing/engineering businesses.
• Familiarity with SAP and FX/Net Investment Hedging.
