FMCG/Food Manufacturing

About the Role:

Our client, a leading organisation in the FMCG sector, is undergoing a major transformation initiative. A key component of this programme is the implementation of a demand planning and forecasting tool, RELEX, to optimise supply chain performance and planning accuracy.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the remaining phases of this implementation, currently mid-flight, with an expected go-live in approximately 12 months. This is a critical role requiring strong project governance, stakeholder management, and hands-on experience with Agile delivery methodologies within the context of supply chain system deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of the ongoing RELEX implementation project, ensuring successful delivery to time, budget, and scope.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams across supply chain, IT, planning, and 3rd party vendors, with an emphasis on holding 3rd party vendors to account and ensuring timelines are met.
  • Apply and champion Agile project management methodologies and tools to ensure iterative, value-driven delivery.
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Track and report progress to senior leadership, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to ensure solution alignment with operational and strategic goals.
  • Ensure high-quality data migration, system configuration, UAT, and end-user training in preparation for go-live.
  • Support the post-implementation phase and transition to business-as-usual.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale supply chain tool implementations, particularly in the FMCG industry.
  • Direct experience delivering systems such as RELEX, Optimity, or Blue Yonder is essential.
  • Strong track record of successful Agile project delivery, with the ability to embed agile practices within cross-functional team is essential.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including working with senior business leaders and third-party vendors.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning, forecasting, and demand management processes.
  • Exceptional organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
