Senior Financial Accountant being hired for global business in Berkshire!
£70,000 - £75,000 + Bonus + Benefits + Hybrid Working (2 days in the office)

We're on the lookout for a talented Senior Financial Accountant to join a high-performing UK Finance team. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with colleagues across Europe to drive high-quality financial and statutory reporting. You'll play a pivotal part in ensuring compliance with key accounting standards, leading activities such as month-end close, tax compliance, and statutory financial statements. Beyond the core responsibilities, you'll also have the chance to get involved in commercial projects, gaining exposure beyond finance and making a real impact across the business.

How you'll make an impact
- Lead high-quality financial reporting, accounting, and tax compliance in the UK.
- Engage with senior stakeholders on reporting and compliance.
- Review income statements, balance sheets, and key reconciliations.
- Oversee statutory financial statements across multiple entities in collaboration with the European finance centre.
- Lead local impairment assessments and provide technical accounting support (e.g., revenue recognition, lease accounting).
- Manage UK revenue recognition areas.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal/external accounting advisors.
- Lead internal and external audit processes and act as a key escalation point.
What we're looking for
- Background in audit, preferably trained at a Big Four accounting firm
- Proven industry experience in a Financial Accounting role
- Experience leading and delivering UK statutory accounts and tax compliance activities
- Experience with US-listed companies highly desirable, ideally with exposure to matrix organisations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Proactive and collaborative approach; takes pride in delivering high-quality accounting for the UK entity
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with key stakeholders
