Role: Payroll Project Manager
Contract length: 6-month contract outside IR35
Day rate: £550-£600 per day
Workstyle: Predominantly Remote

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the re-planning and turnaround of critical payroll projects while ensuring compliance with payroll regulations and designing innovative payroll systems. This role requires expertise in managing payroll projects within fast-paced, private equity-backed environments, as well as hands-on experience with ADP Payroll adoption projects. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the re-planning and turnaround of critical payroll projects.
- Ensure all payroll processes comply with relevant regulations.
- Design and implement new payroll systems to enhance efficiency.
- Lead ADP Payroll adoption projects successfully.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Lead and motivate project teams to achieve desired outcomes.
- Implement change management strategies to facilitate project success.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in payroll processes.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in managing payroll projects within private equity-backed organizations.
- Extensive experience with ADP Payroll adoption projects.
- Strong strategic thinking and project management skills.
- Excellent risk management and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Demonstrated leadership and effective communication ability.
- Experience in change management and resource management.
- Commitment to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) are advantageous.
