Job Title:
Senior Regulatory Accountant

The Finance team oversees financial planning, performance analysis and regulatory compliance, partnering closely with the business to provide clear, timely insight and support decision-making.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Regulatory Accountant to join the EMEA Wealth Finance team, reporting to the Wealth Financial Controller (EMEA West). The role focuses on regulatory and statutory reporting, financial controls and compliance across UK operations.

Operating within a global accounting framework, the team produces reporting under US GAAP alongside local regulatory requirements. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate, timely and compliant regulatory submissions, while driving improvements and efficiencies in reporting processes. The position is based in London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review regulatory cash flow reporting

  • Ensure compliance with FCA and other relevant regulatory requirements, staying up to date with changes

  • Prepare and submit regulatory filings, including FCA returns, MIFIDPRU 8 disclosures, ICARA, capital and liquidity modelling, and stress-testing

  • Support statutory financial statement preparation and external audits

  • Identify and implement process improvements in regulatory reporting

  • Partner with compliance, audit and wider finance teams to meet reporting obligations

  • Senior finance leadership and global finance teams

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of FCA regulatory reporting and the UK financial services environment

  • Proven experience managing regulatory reporting and working with regulators

  • IFRS or local GAAP experience essential; US GAAP desirable

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience with Oracle and Hyperion preferred

  • Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

  • Advanced Excel skills; PowerPoint desirable

  • Degree-qualified with ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification
