Role: Senior Business Analyst Location: Remote - Ad hoc UK Travel Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
Job Overview We are partnering with an insurance business that is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support ongoing digital and operational transformation across their UK’s Property business divisions. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, define requirements, and support the delivery of technology and process improvements. You will play a key part in shaping future capabilities, improving workflows, and ensuring that new solutions deliver measurable value.
Responsibilities
Partner with business teams to understand processes, challenges, and strategic priorities
Conduct detailed business and systems analysis to identify opportunities for improvement
Gather, document, and communicate clear business and technical requirements
Facilitate workshops and meetings to capture and challenge requirements
Produce business cases, process documentation, and detailed specifications for development teams
Support Agile delivery, including backlog prioritisation and participation in refinement and sprint activities
Coordinate testing activities, including system testing, UAT, regression testing, and release validation
Support configuration, troubleshooting, and implementation of new solutions
Produce training and support materials and facilitate user training
Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain strong relationships across the organisation
Contribute to organisational design activities and cross‑functional collaboration
Mentor junior team members and support wider transformation initiatives
Skills and Experience Needed
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a fast‑paced change environment
Experience in property insurance (minimum 5+ years); Ideally in subsidence and loss adjusting.
Strong business and technical writing skills, including detailed specifications
Experience working across the full project lifecycle
Comfortable engaging and influencing senior stakeholders
Skilled in Agile methodologies and working with development teams
Highly analytical, organised, and methodical
Able to work independently and collaboratively
Confident managing remote colleagues and third‑party providers
Resilient, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities
