Senior FP&A Analyst required for a pharmaceutical business (Hybrid – Berkshire)

We are working with a leading pharmaceutical business making a real impact in multiple therapeutic areas, including immunology, oncology, neuroscience, and eye care. The organisation has a well-established finance function that supports strategic decision-making, commercial performance, and operational excellence.
As Senior FP&A Analyst, you will partner with finance leadership and business stakeholders to drive budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. The role focuses on delivering actionable commercial insights, building robust financial models, and supporting strategic planning to enable informed business decisions.
Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial planning, analysis, and reporting, while providing key insights to support the business strategy.
Key Requirements:
Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent)
1-2 years PQE or equivalent experience
Strong experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI skills
Experience with financial planning systems (SAP BPC or similar)
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
Own management and forecasting of revenue and cost performance, including gross margin analysis and operational costs
Prepare and submit financial reports, providing clear commentary and variance analysis for management
Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools for operational and financial performance
Partner with business teams to provide accurate forecasts, budget guidance, and financial insights
Support planning cycles, including budgeting, forecasting, and longer-term financial planning
Maintain compliance with relevant regulatory and financial reporting requirements
Drive improvements in financial systems, reporting processes, and data analysis capabilities
Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis and project work as required
The role is offered on a hybrid working basis (typically three days per week in the Berkshire office) within a collaborative and high-performing finance team.
