IT/Data Project Manager

Role: Data & BI Project Manager
Location: Midlands (Hybrid)
Rate: £500 - £550 per day Outside IR35
Duration: 6 Months

We are partnering with a leading Construction organisation based in the Midlands who is embarking on several strategic IT initiatives and is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their Technology Transformation function.

About the Role:
You will take ownership of the planning, delivery, and execution of multiple IT projects, including:

• A major data transformation initiative, involving the transition from QlikView to Synapse as well as data migration activities
• Network and Infrastructure based projects
• An ERP upgrade and system integration project

This is a hands-on role that requires someone with strong BI and Data projects experience, excellent project planning skills, and the ability to deliver against tight deadlines on high-profile initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
• Face off to the data & BI teams to ensure technical projects are being delivered to scope
• Oversee complex data integration projects
• Coordinate effectively with external vendors and manage offshore delivery partners
• Work closely with internal (IT, data, and business teams) as well as partnering with offshore vendors and 3rd party providers to ensure alignment with business goals and continued progress
• Apply strong reporting and governance practices to keep stakeholders informed and ensure cadence remains

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience delivering IT and Data Transformation initiatives
• Strong understanding of BI (Business Intelligence), Data Platforms, and Reporting Tools (Power BI and MS Purview advantageous)
• Quickview or Synapse experience a bonus
• ERP upgrade/integration experience, ideally with COINS and/or Dynamics CRM
• Excellent stakeholder management and vendor coordination, including offshore teams
• Strong organisational skills with a focus on timelines, milestones, and risk management
