Interim Financial Controller

Stanton House is currently recruiting for an Interim Financial Controller to join a Large International Organisation in London on a 5-month Contract. This role offers a day rate of £750 per day (inside IR35) and working hybrid 2 days per week in their London office.

Responsibilities:
* Lead all financial accounting and reporting for the US.
* Ensure timely, accurate internal and external reports that meet Group and statutory standards.
* Act as a strategic finance partner to local leadership and key stakeholders.
* Strengthen financial controls and support internal audit and testing.
* Work closely with shared services to optimise transactional processes.
* Manage, develop, and coach a high-performing finance team.
* Oversee year-end audits and statutory filings with external advisors.
* Deliver monthly working capital forecasts and support broader finance improvement initiatives.

To be suitable for this role, you must have the following:
* Qualified accountant (CPA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent).
* Strong IFRS knowledge and understanding of US financial requirements.
* Proven people leader with experience in matrix environments.
* Solid background across financial control, audit, tax, and professional services.
* Excellent organisation, stakeholder management, and business partnering skills.
* Confident using Microsoft Office; SAP is a strong advantage.
* Proactive communicator with a solutions-focused mindset.
