Location: Bristol (Hybrid 2-3 days a week)

Salary: Up to £115,000 (DOE) + benefits
 
I am currently working with an international retail provider, who are searching for a GBS Order to Cash (O2C) Lead to join their team.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end O2C operations within a multi entity international environment, ensuring  efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with business goals. You will manage operations delivered through their partner, driving operational excellence and driving  continuous process improvement using technology and automation.
 
Working closely with regional and country teams, you will implement best practices, standardise policies, monitor KPIs, and support compliance, risk management, and accurate month-end close processes. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the evolution of the global O2C function at a pivotal time for the business.
 
Essential Experience Required:

  • You must a qualified account (CPA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Progressive accounting experience, including time within a leadership role in a global finance environment.
  • Experience handling outsourced accounting operations and service providers.
  • Proven experience in complex O2C functions, with deep knowledge of the full O2C process.
  • Substantial understanding of global finance regulations, compliance requirements, and multi-country reporting standards.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams, build effective relationships across finance functions, and communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills to optimise processes and drive improvements.
  • Advanced analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Power BI, for reporting and analysis.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee end-to-end Order to Cash (O2C) operations across multiple regions, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery.
  • Manage the performance of the outsourced O2C provider and maintain accountability for service levels and KPIs.
  • Develop and implement global O2C strategies in collaboration with the OTC Global Process Owner.
  • Maintain accurate reporting on costs, KPIs, and performance metrics for leadership oversight.
  • Build strong relationships with finance teams, regional and SLT, and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with global policies, regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Drive continuous process improvements, leveraging technology and automation to enhance efficiency and scalability, collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline processes.
  • Support audits and compliance reviews, liaising with internal and external auditors and regulatory authorities.
  • Stay up to date on industry best practices, accounting standards, and emerging technologies to inform process enhancements.
