About the Role

We are recruiting a Global Tax Manager to join a highly respected, international, purpose‑led organisation. This is a broad, hands‑on role with responsibility for global tax compliance, reporting and advisory across multiple jurisdictions.

Working closely with senior finance leadership and partnering with HR, Legal, Compliance and external advisors, you will play a key role in managing tax risk, supporting financial reporting, and advising on international and employment tax matters. This is a visible role offering genuine ownership and the opportunity to shape tax frameworks, processes and controls in a complex global environment.

Key Responsibilities

Global Tax Compliance & Governance

  • Oversee end‑to‑end global tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filings across multiple jurisdictions
  • Manage UK corporation tax compliance, including oversight of transfer pricing and UK VAT returns
  • Coordinate overseas tax filings, working closely with local advisors
  • Maintain the global tax compliance calendar and manage correspondence with tax authorities
  • Ensure robust documentation, controls and governance around global tax obligations

Financial Reporting & Advisory

  • Support monthly, quarterly and year‑end financial reporting processes
  • Prepare tax forecasts, budgets and tax provision calculations under IFRS
  • Perform detailed tax reconciliations and general ledger analysis
  • Provide advisory support on intercompany transactions and cross‑border activities

Risk, Employment Taxes & Global Mobility

  • Identify and assess tax risks, including permanent establishment and employment tax exposure
  • Partner with HR on global mobility, payroll tax and social security considerations
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of tax control frameworks and internal policies
  • Support audit, risk committee reporting and tax‑related projects

Stakeholder Management & Process Improvement

  • Act as the key tax contact for internal stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Manage relationships with external advisors, auditors and tax authorities
  • Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, controls and reporting
  • Provide training and guidance to finance teams on tax compliance requirements

About You

You are a confident, technically strong tax professional who enjoys operating in an international environment and taking ownership of complex tax matters, while working closely with the wider business.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified accountant and/or tax professional (ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in global tax compliance and international tax matters
  • Solid understanding of corporate tax, VAT/GST and employment taxes
  • Experience producing tax disclosures and deferred tax calculations under IFRS
  • Background in a complex, multi‑jurisdictional environment (in‑house and/or practice)
  • Strong Excel skills and experience working with finance systems

Personal Attributes

  • Comfortable working independently with a high level of accountability
  • Detail‑oriented, organised and able to manage competing deadlines
  • Strong communicator, able to translate technical tax into clear, practical advice
  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and external advisors

This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional seeking global exposure, ownership and visible impact within a respected, values‑driven organisation operating on an international stage.

Due to the high volume of applications, we may not be able to provide individual feedback to all unsuccessful candidates.
