Stanton House are partnering with a fast-growing, multi-site business to appoint an IT Operations Manager into a newly evolving technology function.
This is a broad and highly visible role, ideal for someone who enjoys building operational maturity within a modern cloud-based environment. Working closely with the leadership team and CTO, you will take ownership of IT operations across the business, ensuring technology services are reliable, secure and scalable as the organisation continues to grow.
The environment is heavily SaaS-driven, with much of the operational support outsourced to a managed service provider, so this role is less about hands-on infrastructure engineering and more about owning end-to-end service delivery, supplier management, operational improvement and cyber security maturity.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Owning day-to-day IT operations and service delivery across multiple sites
- Managing third-party IT service providers and ensuring strong SLA performance
- Overseeing the operational management of cloud-based platforms, end-user technology and core business systems
- Supporting the identification, implementation and transition of new SaaS solutions into BAU support
- Developing strong incident, problem and change management processes across interconnected business systems
- Building and improving cyber security operations and contributing to a longer-term security roadmap
- Working closely with technology and business stakeholders to improve user experience and operational reliability
- Developing a strong understanding of how systems, services and data flows join up across the wider organisation
We are looking for candidates who bring:
- Proven experience within IT Operations, IT Service Delivery or Technology Operations leadership roles
- Strong experience managing MSPs, SaaS vendors and outsourced technology services
- Experience operating within cloud-first environments and managing multiple business-critical platforms
- A strong understanding of IT service management and operational governance
- Good cyber security operational awareness, including vulnerability management and endpoint security
- The ability to operate broadly across systems, services and operational processes rather than within a narrow technical specialism
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills within fast-paced environments
Experience within property, hospitality, retail, student accommodation or other multi-site operational businesses is advantageous.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business where technology is becoming increasingly important to operational performance and customer experience, with genuine scope to shape and mature the IT operations capability over time.
