Group Finance Manager
Company
Stanton House is partnering with a large international organisation to appoint a Group Finance Manager. Operating across multiple markets and jurisdictions, the business has a complex reporting environment and places a strong emphasis on financial governance, technical accounting excellence and stakeholder engagement.
 
This is an opportunity to join a high-calibre finance team with exposure to senior leadership, listed company reporting, and a wide range of business and finance projects.
 
Role
Reporting into the Head of Group Reporting, you will play a key role in delivering external and internal reporting, supporting technical accounting matters, and maintaining the integrity of financial information across the Group.
 
The role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, audit, statutory compliance, corporate accounting and finance transformation initiatives, making it well suited to a qualified accountant looking to develop their career within a sophisticated Group Finance environment.
 
Responsibilities
• Support the delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of annual and half-year external financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and group accounting policies.
• Prepare financial analysis and reporting for senior stakeholders across finance and corporate functions.
• Partner with divisional finance teams, providing technical accounting guidance and support.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of group accounting policies and reporting procedures.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and reporting activities across corporate functions.
• Assist with the management and delivery of the external audit process.
• Prepare accounting papers covering key technical and judgemental areas.
• Oversee statutory reporting and audit requirements for legal entities across the Group.
• Review outputs from shared service and offshore finance teams.
• Support the ongoing development of financial controls, governance and reporting processes.
• Contribute to finance transformation, process improvement and other ad hoc projects.

 
Requirements
 
Essential
• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge, including IFRS.
• Experience within Group Reporting, external audit or a financial reporting environment.
• Exposure to listed company reporting requirements.
• Understanding of internal controls and financial reporting frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders across the business.
• Experience working to tight reporting deadlines within a complex organisation.

 
Desirable
• Experience within a listed plc environment.
• Background in audit or accounting advisory.
• Exposure to shared service centre or offshore finance models.
• Knowledge of SAP or consolidation systems such as BPC.
• Interest in finance technology, automation and process improvement.
