£80,000-£90,000 + Benefits | Hybrid Working (3 Days Office-Based) | London

We are partnering with a high-growth, international business to appoint a Financial Controller into a key role within its central finance function.

This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of a complex multi-entity portfolio, leading financial control activities across a global corporate structure while supporting ongoing finance transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in financial reporting, statutory compliance, forecasting, and team leadership.

The Role

Reporting directly to senior finance leadership, responsibilities will include:

• Ownership of month-end and year-end close processes across multiple international entities.
• Reviewing balance sheets, P&Ls and cash flow statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Managing intercompany accounting, reconciliations and recharge processes across a global business.
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and coordinating year-end audits.
• Leading budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning activities.
• Managing and developing a small finance team.
• Partnering with stakeholders across finance and the wider business to improve processes and controls.
• Supporting the continued transition towards a shared service centre operating model.
• Driving improvements in financial controls, governance and reporting efficiency.
• Managing indirect tax compliance requirements where required.

About You

We are looking for a technically strong Financial Controller who enjoys operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

You will ideally have:

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Proven Financial Controller experience within a complex, multi-entity organisation.
• Strong statutory accounting and financial reporting expertise.
• Experience managing intercompany accounting within an international group structure.
• Previous ownership of month-end close, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Team management experience, including coaching and developing junior finance professionals.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel capabilities.
• A proactive and hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset.

Experience within a shared service centre environment, alongside exposure to systems such as NetSuite, would be advantageous but is not essential.
