Due to growth and acquisition the company are implementing a new finance system across the group. This is a significant programme and will support continuous improvement across the business in the future.
The role will report into the Finance Director and will be part of the group finance team supporting the wider finance function who are based globally. This is an exciting role which will have a huge impact on the business and will be responsible for helping shape the future state.
The main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Provide support to the project team and wider business during the implementation of NetSuite
Support colleagues on improving the system and developing requirements and enhancements
Support the business on integrating the accounting systems of future acquisitions
Develop and test any new system developments that are required
Work with the team to support projects and other aspects of financial reporting development
Set up and develop future reporting and dashboards through NetSuite and PowerBI
Provide support to finance team and other departments with system related queries, being a finance system super user
Support change and training to the business for system requirements
Supporting external audit requirements.
Skills and experience required:
Previous experience as a systems accountant
Experience in systems implementations would be an advantage
Experience in developing reports in PowerBI and Netsuite would be an advantage
A background within accounting but having a keen interest and speciality within systems and data
Be able to pro-actively develop and improve business processes
Have confident communication skills between all parts of the business
Proactive and able to use own initiative as well as the ability to work in a small team
Experience in working in a fast-paced growth environment and able to adapt
