As Head of Corporate Tax, you will work closely with senior leadership to deliver complex advisory projects, particularly in corporate reconstructions, reorganisations, and structuring for family-owned and managed businesses. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships and providing strategic tax guidance that aligns with their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the corporate tax team, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
  • Manage multiple client projects, ensuring delivery with technical precision and commercial awareness.
  • Deliver advisory services in corporate restructuring, group planning, and specialist tax strategies.
  • Onboard new clients and support business development by identifying additional advisory opportunities.
  • Review and oversee technical deliverables, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met.
  • Keep up to date with relevant tax legislation and maintain technical expertise.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Significant experience in corporate tax advisory, especially reconstructions and reorganisations.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and build strong client relationships at senior levels.
  • Experience managing and mentoring a small team, with the ability to grow the practice.
  • CTA qualification (essential); commercial understanding and advisory mindset critical.
  • Experience working with family-owned and managed businesses preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and advisory best practices.

What's on Offer

  • Leadership of a growing corporate tax practice with autonomy and ownership.
  • Exposure to high-value clients and strategic advisory work.
  • Opportunity to mentor and develop a team, shaping the practice as your own.
  • Competitive salary and potential for professional growth within a supportive, ambitious culture.

If you are an experienced corporate tax professional looking for a career-defining leadership role, we would love to hear from you.
