You will take ownership of a diverse supplier landscape, managing approximately 70 IT contracts ranging from annual renewals through to large multi-year strategic agreements. Working closely with the IT and Finance senior stakeholders, you will play a critical role in ensuring supplier performance, commercial value, and governance across the technology ecosystem.

This role would suit someone who combines strong commercial acumen, supplier management expertise, and stakeholder engagement skills, and who enjoys building structure and improving ways of working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of IT supplier contracts, including renewals, negotiations and performance management.

  • Manage and monitor supplier delivery against KPIs, SLAs and contractual commitments.

  • Lead and support IT procurement and supplier selection processes, including RFPs and evaluations.

  • Conduct detailed contract reviews, ensuring understanding of commercial terms, liabilities and risks.

  • Establish and embed standardised vendor management processes, including quarterly business reviews and performance reporting.

  • Ensure the organisation is achieving value for money and competitive positioning across its technology suppliers.

  • Maintain strong engagement with senior stakeholders, providing governance oversight and commercial insight.

  • Balance management of existing suppliers with onboarding and selection of new partners.

We are looking for someone who brings:

  • Proven experience in IT vendor or supplier management specifically, not service delivery

  • Experience managing multiple concurrent contracts across a varied portfolio.

  • Strong knowledge of IT procurement and commercial negotiations.

  • Ability to manage supplier performance against SLAs and KPIs.

  • Understanding of contract terms including risk, liabilities and warranties.

  • Experience supporting or leading supplier selection / tender processes.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong negotiation capability and ability to work under pressure.
