š Basingstoke (Hybrid ā 1 day per week in office) š¼ Ā£90,000 - Ā£100,000 + bonus + car allowance Ā The Opportunity Ā An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Ā Group Financial Controller to join a multi-billion-dollar, globally listed organisation operating across more than 100 countries. Ā The business is undergoing significant transformation, including the integration of recent acquisitions, expansion in Asia, and the continued development of a shared service centre. This role will sit at the heart of group finance, owning all aspects of technical reporting and consolidation. Ā The Role Ā Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will take ownership of the groupās technical accounting, consolidation, and external reporting processes. Ā Key responsibilities include:
Leading group consolidation and IFRS reporting across multiple international entities
Owning the relationship with external auditors and managing the group audit process
Acting as the technical accounting expert across the business, advising senior stakeholders
Driving the transition and alignment of reporting standards (including IFRS implementation and improvement)
Leading and developing a high-performing group reporting team
Supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses into the reporting framework
Enhancing and streamlining reporting processes and systems (including consolidation tools)
Acting as a key contact with global stakeholders, including overseas parent entities
Ā About You Ā We are looking for a technically strong and commercially aware finance leader with experience in complex, international environments. Ā You will likely be:
ACA / CA qualified (or equivalent)
Exposure working with or within a large multinational group finance function
Highly experienced in IFRS, group consolidation, and technical accounting
Experienced in managing audits within complex, multi-entity organisations
A strong people leader, with the ability to manage and develop teams
A proactive, self-starting individual who can drive process improvements and transformation
