📍 Hybrid Working (2–3 days in Central London)
💰 £70,000 – £80,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Stanton House are partnering with a rapidly growing private equity-backed business to appoint a Financial Reporting Manager. Reporting directly to the UK CFO, this newly created role offers a unique opportunity to build and shape a reporting function during a significant period of transformation, growth and systems change. The business operates multiple well-known consumer brands and experiences across the UK and internationally and is currently centralising its finance function, standardising processes and implementing a new ERP system. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys creating structure from complexity, leading change and making a tangible impact.
This role would be well suited to an ACA qualified practice trained Finance professional with industry experience of leading the month end close and a small team, in a sizeable business.
💼 The role:
As Financial Reporting Manager, you will take ownership of financial reporting, month-end processes and audit management whilst helping establish best practice across a business that is transforming its finance operating model.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading month-end and year-end close processes across multiple business units
• Managing relationships with external auditors and coordinating audit activity
• Developing and implementing robust financial controls, policies and reporting procedures
• Building a standardised reporting function and driving consistency across the organisation
• Supporting and developing a team of Financial Accountants
• Playing a key role in the implementation of a new ERP system and wider finance transformation programme
• Driving process improvement, automation and reporting efficiencies
• Partnering with operational stakeholders to improve financial understanding and reporting discipline
• Supporting the transition from multiple legacy accounting systems into a centralised finance platform
🎯 What we are looking for:
• ACA qualified
• Strong financial reporting, financial accounting and month-end close experience
• Experience managing external audits and statutory reporting requirements
• Exposure to finance transformation, process improvement or systems implementation projects
• Background within a larger, well-structured organisation with a strong understanding of best-practice finance processes and controls
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge constructively
• Resilient, adaptable and comfortable operating within a changing environment
• Previous leadership experience is advantageous, although individuals looking to step into their first management role will also be considered
