Applications Security Engineer

Stanton House is partnered with an innovative financial firm to hire an Application Security Engineer - a perfect role for a developer at heart who's passionate about secure code and wants to grow into AppSec. You'll report directly to a hands-on mentor who's helped junior engineers become CISOs, while helping build a secure development culture across the business.

Requirements:

~ Programming background (CS degree or GitHub profile preferred)

~ Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and ability to explain vulns to dev teams (or willingness to learn)

Bonus:

~ Experience with C#, Python, or Azure (but not required - flexibility on tools/languages)

~ Manual code review or AppSec-focused code auditing experience
