Assistant Financial Controller

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a Group Finance team. This role would be ideally suited to someone looking to work in a dynamic, fast paced international business.

To successfully deliver in the profile position, you will need to meet the following criteria:

• A qualified accountant
• Direct line management experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills
• Stakeholder management experience
• Top of Form

A little more information about the responsibilities in the role:

• Managing two direct reports
• Deliver the monthly Group balance sheet package to the FC, Head of Commercial Finance, FD, and CFO, encompassing the Group Balance Sheet, P&L, Cashflow, and pertinent data
• Ensure prompt completion of top-tier statutory financial statements for the Group, UK subsidiaries and external entities
• Take charge of the year-end audit proceedings, meticulously managing audit inquiries to meet the audit schedule, including daily liaison with auditors.
• Assist by furnishing precise and punctual information and analysis to the FC, FD, and CFO
• Ensure financial control frameworks are adhered to and continuously look at improving existing processes
