Change and Communication Manager

Location: London

Mainly remote work with monthly visits into the office

Our client is looking for an experienced Change and Communication Manager to join on a Fixed Term contract to set up and deliver a change management plan to support a reform programme. Reform Programme will ensure the organisation is ready to meet the ambitions of that strategy through transformation of organisational structures, operational processes, people capabilities and organisational culture, communications, and systems capability.

As a change manager you would be responsible for the following areas:

Change Planning

  • Set up a change management plan
  • Provide recommendations about change models or methodologies
  • Built an in dept understanding of relevant areas of the organisation
  • Assess readiness for change across organisation in specific areas of the organisation
  • Work with programme and project teams to integrate change management activities

Change Support

  • Provide coaching and support for leaders to help their people to understand, adopt and adapt to the change
  • Identify where and how change may be resisted and develop and deliver interventions to manage and overcome resistance
  • Develop training, documentation and learning programmes to meet learning requirements and support transition
  • Work closely with People team in developing interventions, providing support for HR specific processes related to change

Communications

  • Advise on, support and produce communications plans and content to ensure that people understand the need for change the advantages change will bring
  • Work closely with senior managers, leaders and the comms team to ensure that people within the organisation and informed of change progress and briefed regularly

Embedding change

  • Define measures of success for change management interventions
  • Monitor the progress of change and the impact on people
  • Evaluate the success of change management initiatives using pre defined measures

A successful candidate for this role should has:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and evidence of strong skills in collaborating and working in partnership with others
  • Ability to design and deliver high quality training and communications to support change.
  • Remains resilient in the face of challenges, resistance and setbacks
  • Ability to assess organisational readiness and tailor change approaches accordingly
  • Familiarity with change management methodologies (e.g., ADKAR, Prosci) and tools.
