Interim Finance Business Partner

Stanton House is currently recruiting for an Interim Finance Business Partner to join a Listed Business in the Midlands. This is a 9-month Fixed Termed Contract offering £75,000 - £80,000 per annum pro-rated (depending on experience), there may also be benefits (TBC). This role is hybrid, 2 days per week on-site (there may be some flexibility).

Responsibilities:

• Manage complex commercial contracts and billing arrangements.
• Partner closely with operational teams and customers to drive commercial performance.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships across the business and with external stakeholders.
• Provide insightful financial support and challenge to ensure contracts are delivered profitably and efficiently.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy across financial and commercial reporting.
• Operate independently, taking ownership of deliverables and priorities when senior leaders are engaged elsewhere.

To be suitable for this role you must have the following:

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner with strong commercial awareness.
• Solid background in B2B contracting, ideally within the public sector, as well as working with larger businesses such as PLCs.
• Demonstrated experience in outsourced contract environments.
• Strong understanding of commercial finance, the role is more commercially focused than purely accounting-based.
• Operate independently and autonomously, taking ownership of deliverables and priorities.
