Company We are supporting a fast-moving, people-first organisation undergoing a large-scale transformation programme centred on improving data quality and implementing a new NetSuite ERP platform. The programme involves transitioning from multiple legacy systems into a more structured, scalable environment, with a strong focus on data integrity, governance, and long-term sustainability. This is a delivery-focused environment with clear programme leadership and SME oversight.
Role We are supporting the appointment of an interim Data Manager to lead a small team of 2 data analysts within a critical data workstream. The role is accountable for overseeing data profiling, cleansing, and readiness ahead of migration into NetSuite. This is a hands-on leadership position, combining delivery with team coordination, and requires someone comfortable working closely with both analysts and programme stakeholders. You will manage two Data Analysts while remaining close to the detail, ensuring outputs are delivered to the required quality and timelines. The role sits at the centre of the programme, working alongside SMEs and leadership to drive data quality improvements and support successful migration.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate data activities across profiling, cleansing, and validation
Manage and support two Data Analysts, ensuring delivery quality and pace
Oversee data quality assessments across multiple legacy systems
Define and enforce data standards aligned to target system requirements
Support planning and execution of data migration into NetSuite
Review and validate outputs from analysts to ensure accuracy and completeness
Act as the primary point of contact between the data team and programme stakeholders
Work closely with SMEs to prioritise and resolve complex data issues
Ensure clear documentation of data issues, decisions, and resolutions
Support quality assurance processes and sign-off ahead of migration cycles
Requirements Essential
NetSuite experience a must (NetSuite NSPB even better)
Proven experience leading data workstreams within transformation or migration programmes
Strong background in data profiling, cleansing, and data quality improvement
Hands-on approach with the ability to operate at both delivery and oversight level
Experience managing or coordinating small teams in a programme environment
Strong Excel capability and confidence working with large datasets
Ability to engage with SMEs and programme stakeholders effectively
Strong attention to detail and structured approach to problem solving
