Job Title: Security Engineer II
Compensation: $130,000 – $163,000 Base + 10% Bonus
Location: Hybrid (4 days onsite) - Atlanta (GA), La Vista (NE), Oakdale, (CA), Scottsdale (AZ), or St. Petersburg (FL)
A leading financial services organization is continuing to scale its cybersecurity and systems engineering function and is seeking a Security Engineer to take ownership of its Splunk SIEM environment.

This is a hands-on opportunity to work at the intersection of security operations, engineering, and data, with exposure to broader initiatives across vulnerability management and data protection.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own and maintain the Splunk SIEM platform (infrastructure + application layer)

• Optimize log ingestion, parsing, and detection capabilities

• Partner with security and infrastructure teams to improve threat visibility and response

• Support initiatives across vulnerability management and data security

• Automate and enhance workflows using scripting

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in Security Engineering or Systems Engineering

• Strong hands-on experience managing Splunk as an application on the OS

• Experience working across both Windows and Linux environments

• Scripting ability in Python, PowerShell, or Bash

• Ability to work onsite 4 days/week
