Location: Atlanta, GA | La Vista, NE | Oakdale, MN | Scottsdale, AZ | St. Petersburg, FL (Hybrid – 4 days onsite)

Compensation: $130,000–$155,000 base + bonus

Join a leading financial services organization as a Senior Network Security Engineer, where you'll help secure enterprise network and cloud environments. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on modern network security architecture, cloud security, zero trust initiatives, and advanced threat detection across a large-scale hybrid infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure network architectures across on-premises and cloud environments.

  • Manage and optimize firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, WAF, DNS security, and DDoS protections.

  • Drive zero trust, segmentation, and secure connectivity initiatives.

  • Enhance cloud network security within Azure environments.

  • Develop detection capabilities alongside Security Operations teams.

  • Lead complex upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements.

  • Create technical documentation and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of network security engineering experience.

  • Strong experience with enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, or Check Point).

  • Expertise in routing, VPNs, segmentation, TLS/SSL, and network security fundamentals.

  • Experience securing Azure networking environments.

  • Hands-on SIEM experience and strong troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Experience

  • Financial services or other highly regulated industries.

  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as NYDFS, SEC Reg S-P, or similar compliance standards.
