Director/Head of Shared Service Centre

We are currently working with a Professional Services business who are looking for a Direct of Shared Services, to join on a permanent basis, to create and deliver a new Shared Service Centre

Role: Head of/Director of Shared Services

Salary: £120,000 - £140,000 (DOE) + Bonus & Benefits

Permanent

Hybrid working: 2-3 days a week in London

Join their dynamic team as the Head of Finance Shared Services, working closely with the sernior finance leadership team, and play an integral part in the design, built, set-up and delivery of a brand new global shared service centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, coordinate, and deliver a project plan to create a brand new Shared Service Centre (SSC) from Scratch
  • Take ownership and create the overall transformation roadmap and plan, as well as lead a range of people, process and technology change projects as part of this SSC creation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and deliver the finance strategic plan and budget
  • Lead the review and design of new WOW and processes across the teams to drive best practice in the new SSC
  • Continuously assess, monitor, and enhance the performance of the SSC department as a whole
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to drive positive change and improvement
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior leaders

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience designing, shaping and driving new Shared Service Centre initiatives across large, multinational organisations end-to-end
  • Broad experience driving finance projects across people, process and technology with a focus on SSC
  • Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence required with demonstratable experience brining the business along for the journey and engaging stakeholders at all levels including c-suite
  • Proven change management skills, with the ability to define and deliver a change journey

This is a permanent opportunity with travel to a London office 2-3 times a week.
