Job Title:
Sales Engineer, Central Region

Stanton House is partnering with a high-growth cybersecurity vendor that is changing how enterprises identify and respond to active threats across their third-party ecosystems.

The company’s intelligence platform combines advanced technology with human-led threat intelligence to help organizations determine which risks are real, relevant and require action. Rather than relying solely on static assessments, the platform continuously monitors adversary activity, credential exposure and targeting behavior across third- and fourth-party environments.

They are now hiring a Sales Engineer to serve as the technical lead throughout the enterprise sales process. You will work closely with Account Executives to uncover customer requirements, demonstrate the platform against real-world risk scenarios and guide prospects through technical validation and solution design.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Partner with Account Executives to develop and execute sales strategies across enterprise and mid-market accounts.
  • Lead technical discovery to understand each prospect’s environment, security maturity, risk profile and business priorities.
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations connecting technical capabilities to specific threat and risk scenarios.
  • Design and manage proof-of-concept engagements with clear technical and business success criteria.
  • Act as the primary technical resource throughout the sales cycle, addressing architecture, integration, deployment and data-handling requirements.
  • Respond to RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires and other technical documentation.
  • Conduct research into prospect environments, technology stacks and relevant threat intelligence before customer engagements.
  • Build reusable demonstration environments, use cases and technical sales collateral.
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering to communicate market feedback and help influence product direction.
  • Partner with Customer Success to ensure a smooth transition from technical validation through onboarding.
  • Represent the company’s technical capabilities at customer meetings, industry events, webinars and conferences.
  • Monitor the competitive and threat-intelligence landscape and contribute to internal enablement.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting or another customer-facing technical pre-sales role.
  • Experience working within cybersecurity, threat intelligence, cyber risk or a closely related market.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise cybersecurity concepts, including threat intelligence, vulnerability management and frameworks such as NIST and MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Experience supporting complex enterprise software sales cycles.
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into clear business value for both security practitioners and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience leading technical discovery, tailored demonstrations and proof-of-concept engagements.
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple active opportunities with strong organization and follow-through.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH or Security+ are advantageous but not required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer meetings and industry events.

Why Join?

This is an opportunity to join an emerging cybersecurity business addressing one of the market’s most urgent challenges: identifying active compromise and adversary activity across the extended enterprise before it creates wider business impact.

You will work alongside experienced cybersecurity and threat-intelligence operators, have meaningful influence over how the technical sales function develops and help enterprise customers operationalize a new approach to third-party cyber risk.
