Senior Corporate IT Engineer

Job Title: Senior Corporate IT Engineer
Location: San Francisco, California
Compensation: Up to $175,000K + equity + bonus

Overview
An extremely fast-scaling AI infrastructure company is seeking a Senior Corporate IT Engineer to help build and scale its internal IT environment from the ground up.

This is a true 0→1 role, offering the opportunity to build foundational systems across identity, devices, and SaaS tooling in a high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality IT support for both in-office and remote teams

  • Administer and scale Okta (user lifecycle, groups, integrations, RBAC)

  • Manage and optimize device fleets (macOS, iOS, Windows) via MDM solutions

  • Support and improve core SaaS platforms (Google Workspace and associated tools)

  • Troubleshoot device, network, and A/V issues in office environments

  • Own and operationalize onboarding and offboarding workflows

  • Manage hardware procurement and asset lifecycle tracking

  • Build and maintain clean, scalable documentation for IT systems and processes

  • Develop automation workflows to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency

  • Support foundational security hygiene, including access reviews and identity controls

Required Experience

  • Hands-on experience administering Okta (users, groups, app integrations)

  • Strong expertise in Google Workspace (some Microsoft 365 exposure preferred)

  • Practical experience with MDM solutions across macOS and Windows

  • Ability to support macOS, iOS, and Windows environments

  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)

  • Experience with IT support operations, procurement, and asset management

  • Strong documentation and technical writing skills

  • Excellent communication and end-user support capabilities

  • Foundational understanding of IT security and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with automation tools (Okta Workflows, Zapier, n8n, Workato, Tray.io)

  • Scripting experience (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)

  • Exposure to security/compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS)

  • Experience integrating HRIS platforms (Rippling, Workday, BambooHR, Deel)

  • Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and SaaS integrations

  • Exposure to AI tooling or automation ecosystems

Who You Are

  • A high-agency, hands-on IT professional who thrives in fast-paced, unstructured environments

  • Comfortable building systems from scratch rather than optimizing legacy environments

  • Strongly collaborative with a service-first mindset

  • Motivated by ownership, speed, and continuous improvement

  • Interested in evolving toward security, automation, or platform engineering

Why This Role?

  • 0→1 ownership – build core IT systems and processes from scratch

  • High autonomy – senior IC role with minimal bureaucracy and real decision-making power

  • Broad scope – hands-on responsibility across identity, MDM, SaaS, and end-user environments

  • Mission-driven – support infrastructure underpinning cutting-edge AI and AGI development

  • Exceptional growth trajectory – join one of the fastest-scaling companies globally
