We are partnering with a high-growth cybersecurity software company focused on helping enterprises unify, prioritize, and remediate security risk across applications, cloud, infrastructure, code, and AI.
The company works with large global enterprises across highly regulated and complex environments and is continuing to expand its U.S. sales organization as adoption grows.
This is an individual contributor role with responsibility for driving new-logo revenue, developing strategic enterprise accounts, and expanding the company's presence across one of its key U.S. territories.
You will own the full sales cycle, from territory planning and prospecting through discovery, executive engagement, negotiation and close, while working closely with channel partners, solutions engineering, marketing and customer success.
Build and execute a territory strategy across NY/NJ Metro
Develop new enterprise opportunities through direct prospecting, partner relationships, events and existing market connections.
Manage complex sales cycles from initial discovery through commercial negotiation and close.
Engage stakeholders ranging from security practitioners through CISOs and executive leadership.
Understand customer challenges across application security, cloud security, vulnerability management and broader exposure management.
Build strong relationships with strategic accounts and identify opportunities for expansion.
Work closely with channel partners, sales engineering, marketing, product and customer success to progress opportunities.
Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting and CRM discipline.
Stay current on cybersecurity trends, competitive dynamics and changes in the enterprise security market.
10+ years of enterprise technology sales experience, ideally within cybersecurity.
Proven success selling application security, cloud security, vulnerability management, exposure management, infrastructure security or adjacent security platforms.
Strong enterprise relationships and experience selling into major accounts across NY/NJ.
Demonstrated ability to build pipeline rather than relying heavily on inbound opportunities.
Strong territory planning skills across a broad geographic region and large enterprise account base.
Comfortable running discovery with both technical and executive stakeholders.
Experience managing complex, multi-threaded enterprise sales cycles.
Strong executive presence, communication and negotiation skills.
Experience operating within an early-stage or high-growth cybersecurity vendor.
Comfortable working in a changing, fast-paced and quota-driven environment.
Strong CRM, forecasting and pipeline management discipline.
