What You’ll Do Lead & Scale the Engineering Organization
Lead and grow an engineering team of approximately 8–10 engineers
Mentor senior engineers and help develop future engineering leaders
Foster a high-performance, collaborative engineering culture
Partner closely with executive leadership on technical and organizational strategy
Drive Technical Execution
Own engineering delivery and operational execution
Ensure reliable delivery of production-quality software
Implement processes that improve speed, quality, and scalability
Identify and manage technical risks as the platform evolves
Support the continued evolution of platform architecture and infrastructure
Advance the Core Platform
Help guide development of advanced detection capabilities using technologies such as:
AI/LLM-powered natural language analysis
Behavioral and heuristic detection systems
Machine learning–driven threat analysis
Contribute to the design of systems built to adapt against evolving adversarial behavior
Ensure detection models remain effective as threat patterns change over time
Build an AI-Native Engineering Function
Help define modern engineering workflows leveraging emerging AI development tools
Stay technically engaged through architecture reviews and selective hands-on contribution
Maintain a strong perspective on modern AI-enabled software development practices
Partner Across the Business
Translate customer and market problems into scalable technical solutions
Collaborate with product and leadership teams on roadmap and technical direction
Align engineering execution with customer and business priorities
What They’re Looking For
Experience building detection and response systems in areas such as cybersecurity, fraud, abuse prevention, or other adversarial environments
Proven experience leading and scaling engineering teams
Strong software engineering and systems architecture background
Experience working with AI and machine learning–driven products or platforms
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced early-stage startup environment
Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills
