Overview A high-growth cybersecurity solutions provider is seeking a Director of Solutions Architecture & Field Technology to lead and scale its pre-sales technical organization. This role blends strategic leadership, customer engagement, and hands-on technical oversight to ensure delivery of innovative, scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development
Lead, coach, and scale a team of Solutions Architects
Establish standardized methodologies, tools, and quality frameworks
Build career progression, enablement, and certification programs
Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and technical excellence
Represent the SA function at the executive level
Customer & Partner Engagement
Serve as a senior technical advisor in strategic customer and partner interactions
Build executive relationships and support high-priority deals, RFPs, and escalations
Align Sales, Services, and Marketing through clear engagement models
Represent the company at customer briefings and industry events
Strategic & Technical Leadership
Act as a Field CTO, translating market needs into technical strategy
Provide external thought leadership (events, content, industry forums)
Partner cross-functionally to shape offerings and messaging
Stay current on cybersecurity, cloud, and enterprise IT trends
Operational Excellence
Define and track KPIs (win rates, adoption, customer satisfaction)
Optimize SA coverage models aligned to revenue growth
Improve processes, tools, and pre-/post-sales handoffs
Partner with Sales Ops and Finance to align with business goals
Qualifications
10+ years in Solutions Architecture, Systems Engineering, or similar
5+ years leading technical pre-sales or architecture teams
Experience operating in a Field CTO or executive advisory capacity
Broad cybersecurity expertise (cloud, identity, data protection, networking)
Strong executive communication and customer engagement skills
