Job Title: Client Platform Security Engineer
Location: Chicago, IL
Compensation: $200K + Bonus
We’re working with a global, tech-driven trading firm known for its strong engineering culture and fast-paced, innovative environment. They’re hiring a Client Platform Security Engineer to help secure endpoint infrastructure across a hybrid environment.
What You’ll Do

Manage and optimize endpoint security tools (EDR/XDR, AV)

Harden Windows, Linux, and macOS environments

Assess risk and implement security improvements

Partner with engineering teams to deploy and test solutions

Automate security checks and improve processes

Support incident triage, investigation, and remediation
What You Bring

Strong experience in cybersecurity engineering

Deep knowledge of endpoint platforms (Windows, Linux, macOS)

Experience with SIEM/SOAR + endpoint security tools

Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)

Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
Bonus: CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Carbon Black, or Qualys experience
