Founding Account Executive

Job Title: Founding Account Executive
Job Location: Remote (United States)
Compensation: $260,000 to $300,000 OTE (50/50 base and variable) plus meaningful equity

A venture backed, early stage cybersecurity vendor is building a human threat detection and response platform focused on stopping social engineering in real time across modern communication channels. They are looking for a founding seller who thrives in ambiguity, can help shape messaging and process, and can own deals end to end with senior security buyers.

What You’ll Do

• Own the full sales cycle from outreach and discovery through evaluation, negotiation, and close
• Sell to security leadership including CISOs and security teams across mid market and enterprise accounts
• Build and manage your pipeline in close partnership with founders, with you owning the number
• Lead consultative discovery and map human risk problems to the platform’s outcomes
• Run evaluations and proof of concepts with support from product and engineering partners

What You Bring

• Several years of quota carrying cybersecurity software sales experience with consistent attainment
• Strong experience selling to CISOs and technical security stakeholders and navigating their buying process
• Comfort selling an emerging category and creating urgency through education and insight
• Proven ability to run complex, multi stakeholder sales cycles including security and procurement steps
• Builder mentality with a willingness to help define playbooks, messaging, and operating cadence
